I believe.

it was the right thing for me to do.
whether it be that i have my ups and downs and emo-ness that someone creeps over my shoulder and lingers as my roommate diane does in the apartment when no one talks to her.

by the way. my grammar is HORRIBLE now i forewarn you.

its a bit difficult to see my lovely buddies keep on doin' that progressive activism shit that i love. today in class the professor asked "what does liberal mean?"

then silenced hovered over.

"what no one is liberal in this class" i for one was speechless. what the fudge. why can i not answer the question?? then he proceeded to ask what "progressive" meant. i for one could not answer. i was frustrated.

now putting my political conflicts aside for a bit. although in reality you can never really place politics aside. i'm going to talk about the daily grunge for a bit.

school: is okay. i like my classes when i like the people and when the professor is awesome. i love how a majority of my teachers are asian women. more power to you! wooo! and white males. boo. its a good change to see. back home, i only had ONE asian american teacher.

faces: its also weird feeling like the majority. where everyone sort of looks like you. where billboards and tv's and everything look like you. i suddenly have a HUGE urge to set myself apart with my punkster hipster ways back home. but wait. everyone else looks and does the same thing. eh. watever.

food: its cheap its good its plentiful. someone told me they gained a bit of weight. i refuse to step on the two weight thingys in the kitchen. and plus, i can't read grams or whatever. but duck everyday! i don't mind. i have yet to have my share of egg tarts though. the restaurants here beat berkeley any day where i constantly pay 10 dollars for a shitty meal. except maybe at gypsy's and house of curries. but eating here is a past time. i once ate four meals just because people invited me too.

shopping: has been a bit poor. no pun intended. but im a bit poor so that doesn't help much. hahaha. i would dress as i normally dress but that would require cool weather. i miss my boots. i miss my scarves. i miss it all.

air: my lungs are sort of enjoying the fumes and humidity. when i step into an air conditioned room they breath again!

lovers: lots of lady hoe's

people: are different and wonderful and horrible. now this is all people, foreign, students, locals, tourists everything. ive always been a person of a few close friends so its a bit tuff sometimes. and im uber receptive to nice people. hard to find i must say. hard to find.

i think what i miss most is comfort. but i wouldn't trade it for this. there's this weird feeling within me where i am constantly restless and i constantly can't be satisfied because im just a weird person.

learning about myself day in and day out.
