learned that only you can make you what you are
you ain't gonna become a social butterfly through others
you ain't gonna become that musical genius by hanging with one
you ain't gonna become an artist because you are surrounded by them
looking
posting
hanging outside borders
chilling with cool people

maybe they influence
but i only became who i am through my own actions
through my frivolous spending of time on listening to music
wanted sleepless nights
cutting
searching
sitting and thinking and not thinking and doing

you can only become what you are willing to become
what you do naturally
things happen
and you fall into it.
